Program Review
AD Engineering works with businesses and organizations to clearly understand and communicate the goals and objectives of the project with respect to design, budget, schedule, quality, and safety. Our focus is to ensure the team understands and meets these project objectives.
Design Construct-ability Review
Our Project Team has years of practical experience and understands how to lead and manage a project. Our team will attend all design meetings and perform ongoing design review, including formal design and budget review at periodic design phases. This review will also include the hands-on experience of our Project Manager. Our team will work with you from the conceptual design stage through construction documents to ensure the project stays within the budget constraints. We will also assist in integrating changes as the project and design unfold.
Value Management
On all of our projects AD Engineering implements a Value Management Program which focuses on cost saving and value added ideas. Each division of work is thoroughly reviewed so the end product is a facility exceeding the objectives within the allowed budget.
Scheduling
AD Engineering will prepare a Master Project Schedule. This schedule is the basis for keeping the team on course and meeting the schedule. Our schedule will integrate design, owner reviews and approvals, and long lead materials. We will provide milestone checkpoints along the way to assure design and construction stay on track and do not affect the overall project completion. We update and share the Master schedule as part of our monthly summary report.
Budget Estimating
At each level — schematic design, design development, and construction documents — AD Engineering will prepare and refine the project budget, and the revised estimates will be compared with the project budget. Finally, we do a market check on all major trade categories to ensure the appropriate budget is being evaluated and to avoid any surprises along the way.
